Khara started as a balloon twister and face painter in 2021, and her adventures as an actress and baby sitter started way back in high school. After years of theatre and working with kids, she attended the University of Rhode Island for her BA in Music Education. Although the teaching didn’t stick (she taught for several years in West Hartford CT public schools before moving on), her passion for the arts sure did!
In 2021, Khara began working at Kaleidoscope Artistic Entertainment: a New England-based party entertainment company.
On top of the visual arts that she started doing at Kaleidoscope (balloon twisting, face painting, magician, and temporary tattoo artist, just to name a few) she began performing as a variety of cartoon characters.
When you book Khara, all of her paperwork, scheduling, marketing, and book keeping are done by Kaleidoscope–she can focus on what she does best, which is being an amazing artist who loves to work with children. To get a quote to bring Khara to your party, you can contact Kaleidoscope here or on their website (www.KScopeArt.com) to speak with someone in the office who’s full time job is keeping Khara’s schedule full.
Currently, Khara makes her full-time living as an artist between Kaleidoscope and a freelance actress in local community theatres. She hopes to continue working towards becoming a full-time entertainer and performer.
